Anastina is an Icelandic-Norwegian artist now persueing a master degree in ‘Performing Art’ at the Art Academy of Iceland. She is an educated sculptor from the Royal Academy of Art in Den Haag, Netherlands. She explores the

multifaceted dimensions of water through a practice that encompasses sculpture, painting, printmaking, jewellery making, installation, and performance. Her works delve into the intricate relationship between humans and the environment, with a particular emphasis on the critical role of water.

At the heart of Anastina's artistic exploration lies a profound concern for environmental issues. Water serves as both the subject and material in the majority of her works, inviting viewers to engage with the profound significance of this vital element. By utilizing various mediums and techniques, Anastina crafts immersive experiences that bridge the gap between artistic expression and environmental advocacy. One of the central themes in Anastina's artistic practice is the impact of climate change and the unequal distribution of water resources.
