Beige the Opera is a project by Io Sivertsen and Anastína Eyjólfsdóttir, with assistance from Alexandra Dalavaga and Dessislav Iilkov. A multidisciplinary filmwork containing sculpture, music, screenings and performances. We are exploring a fictional character called Beige, Beige is whoever is wearing the Beige suit that contradictory actually is blue. The character is just a frame we use to reveal social norms and an extension for the superficial representation of the self. The Opera is narrated by this character, who is played by different performers in different scenes.
